August 9, 2024 GROW volunteers loaded as semi-flatbed with 52 bales of cardboard. Each bale is approximately 1000 lbs. (1/2 ton). So that’s 26 tons of material that is going to be recycled into brand new cardboard and not going into our landfill. Since May 2, 2024, GROW has shipped 145 bales of cardboard to Longview, WA. That’s 77.5 tons in 3 1/2 months. That is once again all made possible by our hard working volunteers.
